Mellowdo privacy policy

Last updated 31 October 2026

Mellowdo is a focus app. This page says what it keeps, where, and how to remove it.

What's stored in your account

Your email address or Apple sign-in ID, your name if you give it, and what you put in the app: tasks, lists, routines, thoughts, notes, logs and focus history. It's kept in a database hosted by Supabase in London, so it can sync between your devices. Other people can't read it, except the lists you choose to share and the names of the people on them.

Talking to Mellow

Speech is turned into text on your phone, and no recording is made or kept. The words, plus the task and list names Mellow needs to answer, are sent to Google's Gemini service through our server on Cloudflare to work out a reply and to make the spoken voice. Our server doesn't store them. You only need Mellow if you want it: everything else works without it.

App blocking

If you choose apps to block during Focus, Apple keeps your choices private. Mellowdo never sees which apps they are.

What we don't do

No ads, no tracking across other apps, and your data isn't sold.

YouTube

If you add a YouTube mix, it plays through YouTube's own player, under Google's terms.

Deleting your data

In the app, open the people button, then Delete account. That removes your account and what's stored in it. Lists you shared pass to the next person on them.

Children

Mellowdo isn't made for children under 13.
